Amazing moving company. I would recommend them if you’re moving anywhere. They were on schedule and very helpful! They were pleasant people to work with. They made sure everything was okay. They ask questions if they needed to. My two men movers were also very polite and strong 💪🏼 I am so glad I found the right movers and company to help me move all my stuff and it was sucha smooth process with them. I found them by searching "moving near me" in Manhattan. Everything went well. Alex from sales explained everything clearly. The team came on time, packed my things carefully, and delivered them without any damage. They even helped with furniture setup. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I recommend them!

Kelly, the young lady answering the phone is amazing! She is kind, understanding, sensible and caring. She walked me through the entire process and really tried to work with me and my budget. I was coming from a bad experience with another moving company who had some high extra hidden fees and didn't finish the job from 2 days earlier as the 1st mover booked another job back to back and didn't finish moving me so I was a bit worried trying to find another mover within 1 days notice. Honestly, I was on edge, hoping that Mack Moving Company would not let me down. In full transparency, the mover's were 1hr and 20 minutes late due to finishing up another job. However, Kelly was right there on the phone with me to make sure I was being taken care keeping me abreast of the status of the drivers. Happily!! The move went smoothly and quickly. The movers were friendly and capable. They even helped me to organize my new storage space. I will DEFINITELY use them again!! I suggest you give Macks Moving an chance. Be very specific as to your needs and keep your accounting clear. You are in very good hands!! A special "shout out" to Kelly-EXCELLENT customer service and thanks for going over beyond!!! I didn't feel like I was just a number. Kelly keeps you informed from beginning to end to ensure you are being treated well. Use this company and tell them Miss Janice sent you!

When they ask you to sign for the start and end time, MAKE SURE TO ASK TO READ WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING!!! The movers may try to rush you through the process or insist on verbalizing what it is but DON'T DO THAT! Just read before you sign since you might be waiving your rights in case of damage. Fortunately I only had small damages but according their BBB reviews, that seems to be a BIG and RECURRING issue. The total price ended up being ~$600 more than quoted and I don't know if I'd recommend Mack's Moving Company again. They broke my fan and charged me for a mattress bag and tv box that didn't get used. I had my own tv box, so it's okay. But seeing them drag the mattress all over the dirty floor was very upsetting. Out of the three movers, Tomas was the only professional. He had moving gloves, smarts to get stuff around corners without damage, friendly, and sanitized the mattress after I made a comment about it being dragged around dirty floors. I didn't ask him to clean it so it was super nice and professional of him to do that on his own. The driver was okay but seemed a little high? I don't mind - and I might totally be wrong and that's just his personality. Nothing really got damaged during the drive as far as we can tell. The 16 year old kid Mack's moving employs had a bit of an attitude but very much in line with his age after he told me how old he was (unprompted - but it made sense). They took an hour or two for lunch mid trip but they asked before hand and all was good. There was some miscommunication though and the owner called me a week after the trip saying they undercharged me and wanted almost $500 more! We cleared it up since he was going to charge for the time they took for lunch but didn't realize. The price was good, but I was misled with the quote. They charge roughly the same rate twiceover for transport and labor... IE: if they take an hour driving to pickup from dispatch, you get charged an hour for labor PLUS whatever distance they did rounded up. That wasn't very clear in the estimate and a not nice surprise...
