If I could give negative stars, I would. This is the worst service I've ever experienced. I chose this company because of their almost perfect rating (4.9) and their prices seemed reasonable, but it turned out to be a terrible decision. It's now over two weeks past the expected delivery date, and I still have no idea when I'll receive my belongings. I've repeatedly contacted customer service for updates, but it's been nothing but disappointment. First, they rescheduled because no truck was available. Then they claimed the truck broke down and needed repairs. After days of follow-ups, I was told the truck couldn’t be fixed, and I’d have to wait until they found another one. I understand that a small, local company might need to share rides to cut costs, but that shouldn't come at the expense of their customers. I’ve been sleeping on the floor in an empty house for half a month with no idea when this ordeal will end.

A Plus Moving Group? More like F Minus Scamming Squad. My experience with this so-called moving company was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Upon their arrival (an hour earlier than scheduled) to pick up my belongings for my move from Charlotte to Chicago, I was immediately hit with a $1,300 upcharge, claiming I had more items than initially described. I was taken aback because I had meticulously provided a detailed itemized list with dimensions of every large object I was moving, and even used exactly the amount of 3.0 cubic feet moving boxes as stated in the initial quote. AND, I sent a video of my entire apartment and my belongings to especially cover my bases. Yet, they had the audacity to try and fleece me for more cash within two minutes of setting foot in my home. Their excuse? Oh, it's just a misalignment between the sales and operations personnel. Well, guess what? At a moving company, there shouldn't be a misalignment there. It's called incompetence, plain and simple. We then negotiated for TWO hours with the movers and their “manager” over the phone, dropping the increase to $700. But wait, it gets worse. Not only did they try to squeeze every last penny out of me, but they also managed to bungle the entire moving process, arriving a staggering four days later than the expected arrival date. And of course, they had the nerve to try and tack on an additional $700 fee upon drop off, claiming they had to switch to a smaller truck which I had explicitly asked about being included in the initial quote, which I was misled and told it was. Let's talk about their so-called "special wrapping" service for my piano, which I shelled out $60 for. A mover thought it was perfectly acceptable to use half a box, some cardboard, and tape to wrap it. Surprise, surprise – my piano ended up chipped. And as if that wasn't enough, they also managed to break the legs off my $400 TV stand. (See pictures of both attached) In the end, I spent $1,000 more than originally quoted, had delayed arrival, and broken furniture. What a joke. Save yourself the headache and the empty wallet. Never, I repeat, never use these scammers masquerading as movers. A Plus Moving Group? More like F Minus Ripoff Artists.
