I hired AD Movers for a long distance move from New Orleans to Raleigh, NC. I had an expensive and irreplaceable family 20+ year old chair break (and they refused to fix it, or reimburse me. Owners response is he has never filed an insurance claim and simply didn’t want to). The leg of the chair snapped off. I also had other smaller things break, like Christmas ornaments, which I told the mover was a valuable box. Also, numerous other things were scratched like my dinner table and now have to pay close to $1,000 to have refinished. Also, they didn’t put back together shelves and other things they had to unscrew to move. Because I didn’t call him within 24-48 hours after moving he said he wasn’t responsible for anything that broke. Which is crazy because I just spent the last few weeks prior to move packing, then had to drive from LA to NC and then he expects me to unpack my ENTIRE house almost immediately. I moved to New Orleans with my old roofing company and moved back to NC to start my own company. As a business owner myself, I’m appalled that he would screw over his customers so easily, especially someone that just dropped $6k on a move. I would never do that. Only good thing is driver was cool and I’m fairly certain they didn’t snoop around my stuff.

These guys were fabulous and I highly recommend them!! They were professional and polite. I was anxious about shipping all my belongings to Australia, but they packed everything up in boxes and loaded my container and showed me how it was all secured to ease my worries. The team worked very well together and I found the whole business was openly communicative and supportive. 5 stars from me!

We had a wonderful experience with A D Movers! We had to move locally and packing in itself is stressful but from the moment the movers arrived they greeted us warmly and went right to work on moving our 1 bedroom apartment. We had some big items that they moved with ease and nothing was broken in the process. Carlos was wonderful and very personable and so were the other two movers (sorry I forgot your names!). They placed all the furniture exactly where we wanted and disassembled and assembled furniture seamlessly. There was a hiccup at the end with the payment but it was all resolved and Adonay was very professional. We will definitely recommend this company for our friends. Thank you!

Admovers team did a great job! They were extremely gentle with all our belongings and busted their butts to get the job down quickly. They were 15 minutes early for our 8:30am appointment. We did lose some time in the drive from one location to the other, not sure if it was GPS or traffic, but when they were packing/loading/unloading they definitely were going as quickly as possible. The move included travel time to two separate apartments for belongings and moving it all to a 3rd location. Move was completed under 4 hours!

This moving company was the best yet that Ive worked with in New Orleans and I’ve used 4 others. It was raining during our original scheduled time. The manager kindly offered to reschedule me for the afternoon to avoid everything getting wet! The guys, 2 of them, showed up on time and were well prepared! The truck was big and had brought many options for moving/lifting equipment. This expedited the process. They were very careful with my things and well organized. They asked where I wanted things instead of just placing anywhere. Efficient and timely. Good quality for good price. I appreciate the hard work. The manager called me at the end to follow up and make sure everything went as expected. Great company! Will definitely recommend and use again. Thank you AD movers!
