The level of unprofessionalism at AM Transportation is breathtaking. When my machines arrived at their facility I was told
it would take about five days to deliver them. It took eighteen days. The first scheduled delivery was on 6/6, I took off work to be there for the installation of my washer/dryer. The delivery/install crew told me that someone at the warehouse forgot to put the stacking kit for my machines on the truck at the warehouse. They left the washer/dryer sitting on my deck for eight days.
I called Maria, the district supervisor for Northern California/Reno multiple times and left messages, she never returned my calls. They sent me an automated text message telling me the second delivery and installation would happen on 6/14. I requested the day off work, again. At five PM on 6/13, the day before scheduled delivery, I received an automated call telling me the truck was fifteen minutes away. This made me late for an appointment, because I needed to let them in. My husband rushed back to the house to be there while I was gone.
“White glove” installation is a joke. They didn’t use any part of the $150 installation kit I was told I needed to purchase, they used the old water lines from our 10+ year old machines. They (mostly) used the old dryer tube instead of replacing it, and they ran the tube so short it looks absolutely hideous.
Never allow these people to touch anything inside your home.

I wish I could give 0 stars
This company made me wait almost 1.5 months for delivery of a built in refrigerator that sat in their Stockton warehouse since 12/26.
First it was because I have stairs ( I do not) then it was that they needed a 3rd person which took another month.
The delivery service included professional installation and haul away of a built in refrigerator.
From the moment they showed up they started looking for reasons to turn the professional delivery, installation, and haul away of a built-in refrigerator into a drop off only. Once they went inside they said we can't remove the door panels, then we can't touch copper water lines. I then explained none of their pre-installation information disclosed that. But because I've gone without a refrigerator since October I called one of my contractors who said he was on his way to take care of it, then the installers said we can't wait. I said it would only take him 10mins to get to my house and they said they could not wait.
They again offered to leave the refrigerator in my garage. I said absolutely not. I'm so discouraged, and the saddest part is based on what transpired over the past 1.5 months I knew this wasn't going to end well. 😔
Regarding delivery
companies AM Home Delivery and Trucking provided one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

I was excited to finally replace my dishwasher. Unfortunately it was scheduled with this company. I had paid for installation & haul away, what they call white glove service. When they first showed up they asked if I wanted installation. I was surprised, because this was listed on their work order and had already been paid for. I confirmed that I did still want that service. One of the guys brought their tool bag, which would have been unnecessary if it was just delivery, so clearly they knew they were supposed to install it. Then we get up to the kitchen, and they start coming up with excuses of why they can’t install it. First it’s they didn’t know how to shut off the water. I got the water line turned off. Then they said a water filter was in the way. I asked if removed that if they could do the install. They just said we can’t do it, and started walking away with the new dishwasher unwrapped and sitting in the middle of the room. Finally when they asked for my signature, realizing there was no way they were going to complete the service I had to push to even get them to move the dishwasher around the corner to the closet. They left a mess of all the packaging in the middle of the floor. At first I was shocked by the incompetence, but after reading the other reviews it seems it may be an intentional scheme of the company. If they don’t want to perform installation and haul away, then they shouldn’t offer it. Overall a terrible experience. Avoid this company at all costs.

I must say I was somewhat worried the night before my scheduled delivery after reading all these one-star reviews. I was also puzzled by the fact that about half think this company is great and half think this company sucks. Well I am happy to report that I had a great experience with Am Home Delivery today. My scheduled time slot was between 2:30 to 6:30pm. I was 10 min late. When I arrived home, one of the three gentlemen was sitting in front of my door waiting for me. Of course, I did call on my way back to let them know that I am running late. But the fact that they waited for me was something I really appreciated. They also moved a bulky range and dishwasher up a step and through a tight front door. When I asked to inspect the items, the gentleman helped me open the boxes even though I could tell there should be no dent as the boxes were in perfect condition. They really took care moving these appliances. Thank you Am Home Delivery, you deserve a 5-star review from me.
ps. I must say though their automated notification does not give you a lot of heads up. I received an automated call that tells me my delivery will happen in 2 min! I almost freaked out. Luckily like I said, they waited for me. Thank you.

Paid for delivery and haul away of a dishwasher. Arrived on the day they were supposed to, but that’s the end of the positive. They arrived almost 3 hours early with only 10 minute notice. Lucky we were able to get home in time.
Before they came, we checked to see if we needed to do anything with the old machine. They assured us we didn’t need to do anything and they would take care of it all when they arrived.
As soon as they came in, they tried to convert it to a drop off only. Flatly refused to do the install because of the length of the cord from the dishwasher to the sink (we had a cord the appropriate length). Refused to uninstall the old washer because the water shut off valve was leaking . We offered to turn off the water to the house and replace the valve before turning it on. Nope. They refused. Said they would reschedule for Friday. They never showed, even though we called multiple times. We did the install ourselves and now we just need them to come get the old machine as they said they would. They are now saying they will o Lu do it if we pay an additional $75.00. Even though they failed to do their contracted work the first time and told us they rescheduled the call.
