Absolutely avoid Apartment Movers - A Disaster from Start to Finish I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience with Apartment Movers was during our recent move. It was a complete nightmare, costing us significant time, money, and emotional distress. Firstly, despite requesting a three-person team for five hours, only two movers showed up. This not only meant they worked much longer hours than agreed upon, costing me hundreds of dollars extra, but it also put immense strain on them, potentially compromising the quality of their work. Their incompetence was further evident when they refused to pull the truck up the driveway on the first attempt, wasting hours moving boxes back and forth and increasing the risk of damage. They only complied on the second attempt, which raises questions about their professionalism and willingness to listen to customer instructions. The most infuriating part was that they left several items behind after my mother, who was our point of contact on moving day, had already left for our new home. This felt incredibly disrespectful and inconsiderate. The movers' carelessness resulted in 15 of our boxes breaking, rendering them unusable. These boxes were $20 each, resulting in $300 in damages. It's clear that they did not handle our belongings with the care they deserved. To top it all off, the movers were extremely rude and unprofessional toward my mother. They argued with her and started the day by complaining that they wouldn't be able to complete the move in one trip. Their negative attitude persisted throughout the day, making an already stressful situation even worse. The combination of broken boxes, left-behind items, and their blatant disrespect towards my mother left us feeling like this was more than just incompetence – it felt intentional. I strongly advise against using Apartment Movers. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Save yourself the headache and choose a different moving company.

Moved on a Saturday afternoon with the absolutely AMAZING help of Jared, Luis and Jose! They helped us move from not only our old to new house but they also made a trip to our storage unit AND a friend’s place to drop off a couch we were getting rid of. All 3 guys took excellent care of moving everything and were super fast considering the huge amount of stuff we had. The Apartment Movers were a recommendation and we can definitely understand why, we will be recommending them to friends and family in the future as well!

I move a lot and have used many movers - interstate, intrastate and local. I have rented in Silicon Valley for over a decade and have used the Apartments Movers six times! The Apartment Movers doesn’t overcharge after the move is over for various extra charges like other movers. They take extra special care with your furniture and set it up where you want it. They are very professional and go out of their way to help you have a smooth transition into your new space. The same team members have been working there for years which says volumes about the dependability of the company. The Apartment Movers is the only choice for me and I highly recommend them for you!

Moving itself went smoothly, but although this is a "family owned small business" I would not say they have any personal care to their jobs. I had a very frustrating experience with the management and communication from Ed & Ryan with very little understanding and culpability on their part. Their website does not validate moving addresses in the booking (moving companies should do some basic checks!) and neither I nor the movers noticed a typo in the address until it came time for my apt, for which they were 1 hour late already by the way. They rented a truck from San Jose instead of SF for my move within the city between two places 1 mile apart. Before my move I called and checked what the driving fee applies for twice (once day of and once when booking), to ensure there is no fee for my move within San Francisco. Even though I selected renting an SF-based truck for a 2 hour move, I had to pay driving fee for truck from San Jose to SF and back adding $200 to my move because they rented from San Jose! Why have an option to select a truck rental location if you're going to ignore it?? If this is a moving company that prides itself on good service, the management itself should have communicated this additional fee to me before hand at any of the times I called or upon booking. This would have allowed me as the customer to get a proper estimate of the services and catch any mistakes as well! Instead on phone calls, I get reassured one price but after the service am expected to pay for 2 hours of driving. I very much respect the mover's time and worth, however the lack of communication and compassion from the management has left me extremely dissatisfied with the service! I would not recommend them in the future unfortunately.

If I could give The Apartment Mover 10 stars I would. My husband and I moved my 81 year old mother-in-law to a new apartment yesterday. The experience was fantastic. I have moved several times over the last couple of years, so when I write this review it comes from multiple moving experiences. This family owned moving company was reliable, friendly, on time, and went over and beyond to help us make this move as easy as possible. The cost was extremely affordable. I will be recommending The Apartment Mover to everyone that I know. Thank you for making this moving experience so great for us.
