5 Star is definitely not enough for this company! I hired another moving company yesterday and they were unable to get my sectional in my new space. I googled specialty moving company and this company was the first on the list with great reviews. So I instantly called spoke with Billy to discuss the situation and he assured me it could be done. He said he could send 3 men out first thing in the morning. Scott, Neil, Richard showed up with a smile and ready to work with CONFIDENCE! It got real sporty but they did exactly what they said they were going to. They protected my furniture and got it inside safe with NO damages! I truly appreciate a company that does exactly as advertised! I’m still amazed by the hard work and how professional they are! Thanks so much!!!!

Two experiences with this company: first experience excellent (July 2022). Second experience two days ago, not catastrophic, but NOT excellent. Would I recommend them overall? Only if you don't know anyone better. First was an unload only of a self-drive Penske: good service. The crew is generally careful when carrying things. (They were careful in carrying things on the second move as well.) Second was an in-town move including a piano. The piano was handled with a separate crew and handled well. Problems are with prep and charging: - Prep: they don't wrap furniture in place before moving it (only wrap at truck, and even then often not completely). This caused issues like a bookcase being turned on its side, and then dragged around floors in the house, scuffing it to a point where it needs to be tossed. As it was happening and I brought this up with the crew chief, he said: "you worry too much". Afterwards when I showed him the damage, he said: "If this is the only thing we broke today, we did really well." Other examples: they don't tape up mattress bags, but leave them open. When they shrink-wrap stuff, they leave lots of gaps. - Charges: $217/hour, but they work extremely slowly. They took 50% more time than what it usually takes for my household. (I have moved 9 times in the last 20 years). They also charge for drive time from Mesquite (i.e. drive from their shop to the load, and from the unload back to their shop). Guess it's your fault if you're moving somewhere other than Mesquite... That wound up over $200. 1.5 hours (= about $300) went to smoke breaks throughout the day; the clock did not stop for these. In between the load and unload they took 1.5 hours, for a 20 minute drive. I was credited .5 hours for lunch, so the remainder makes it about a $120 lunch I bought. $135 truck fee for a truck that is too small for the job. On the previous moves a 26-ft Penske was 3/4 full with the same stuff; with theirs they had trouble making everything fit. They also don't invest in a lift-gate, so overall they have sub-standard equipment. $100 in credit card fees. So just under $3000 on this move, including the piano. For that service, that's too much (IMO). I filled out paperwork for the damaged furniture and was told I would be contacted. So far I have not heard. So there's the good and the bad. Make up your mind if they are a good fit.
