Movers were there as expected and had the move out done very quickly. I was not specific enough on what to load and had to backtrack and unload two items. During the unloading, there was some difficulty getting the queen size box springs up a tight staircase but the guys eventually managed to work it out. Overall, excellent job.

We used Big Boy Movers to move out our furniture for new carpet installation. They arrived on time early in the morning and moved everything out quickly. Then they returned in the afternoon to move everything back. They were so careful and had no issues replacing the furniture in the right spots. We highly recommend Big Boy Movers!

After Big Boy did a great job on a family member’s move, I hired them to help me with my own. The guys showed up on time, were pleasant and respectful, and did their best, but I had concerns about their level of experience fairly immediately based on the way they were packing my PODs. When I asked them about how they were loading my furniture, and whether or not they intended to wrap it thoroughly, they said they would and that everything was fine. When I asked why the items in my second POD, which was only about 2/3 full, had not been roped or bungy-ed and secured, they shrugged their shoulders and didn’t have an explanation. I provided rope and showed them how to create a “net” In the back of the pod, so that items wouldn’t fly forward and/or jam the door. I noticed my kitchen table and chairs were not wrapped, and I commented on this, but it was all the way at the back of the POD, and there was no way we were going to unload and reload at that point. The two employees also tried to remove my TV from the wall mounting, but couldn’t figure out how to do it. They left wires hanging and exposed, and when I called to report the issue, the person I spoke to was reluctant to take responsibility and help me. One of the movers did return to fix the issue. When I reached my new home in another state, many items were scratched and/or dirty because they hadn’t been wrapped and protected as I was told they would be. I wouldn’t hire Big Boy again, but I wouldn’t tell somebody not to. I would just say that you may need to supervise their movers to make sure they are being thorough.

These guys were fantastic. We had a 16’ POD that was packed to the ceiling and everything had to be carried up three floors. They did it in less than 2 hours. Great attitude and effort!

They not only treated us with respect, but also my sister’s items. From getting our quote from Josh to locking up the storage unit they were a delight to work with!!
