Automatic denial if there is a bankruptcy within 5 years - and you need only 4 to qualify for a conventional mortgage. What a joke of a company... Remember it’s been less than 5 years from Covid and all the bankruptcies that brought. Representative Cindy was quite smug with her “nope” on any exception for good credit and over 3x rent. I am sorry, your highness, that I am not good enough and do not deserve a nice house according to thou. Will never ever consider anything to do with this company in my future.

Had a very good experience renting a house from the Carolina Moves company. From the convenient self-viewing of the property to the ease of communication with leasing agent Martha Cervantes, who was quick to respond to our emails with the detailed info and clarifications regarding the renting process, the move-in was streamlined. The company provides renters with a move-in report containing numerous photos of all areas of the house to which one can add any missing info on discovered defects/deficiencies/malfunctioning (our few requests to fix them were addressed in a timely manner). The house was well prepared for our move-in, the grounds were mowed and the bushes were neatly trimmed. Want to give a special praise to our property manager Ashlee Borkowski who was extremely responsive to our questions and requests and successfully negotiated on our behalf with the owner of the house on several occasions. Because of her, our stay in that house was a pleasant experience. We’d highly recommend Carolina Moves for your renting needs!

I have not met a more than incompetent company, I filled out an application as the responsible person for renting a house for my parents, since they had to come to live with us and we take all the costs on ourselves and finances allow us to move. We will call several times on Monday, Tuesday called again and left a voicemail, no one even called back, we had to study more and proceed to submitting an application on their website, we issued everything, paid the commission in the amount of $ 55. A few days later, they contacted us with only affirmative information that my parents need to fill out an application and after filling it out, we will get to the last queue for consideration, since then we will have other people who are also interested in renting it. How do you think my parents should fill out an application, provide a certificate of income, and at the same time when they first come to the United States? My income completely allows me to delay paying for the house. Nothing more than a waste of time!

Called about scheduling someone to come look at my home to confirm what it might rent for. Received one call back from someone after calling to ask for them multiple times to be told they would come by and look, and never heard from anyone again. We decided to sell.... Edit: Replying to company. What Cody told you is inaccurate. We were considering both options. Cody said he would come by sometime the same week to see the property, and he was never heard from again. I don't leave bad reviews just to leave them. Cody was professional to speak to, but did not follow through on his commitments.

WASTEFUL OF YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND KINDNESS. Spent $165 on a rental application, was not informed of the waitlist on the house until after that payment was submitted. Was run through the ringer on documents (they try to require every single individual above 18 to submit paystub‘s regardless of dependency as well as more) And was told the house was unavailable AFTER paying a $25 pet fee. They accepted this fee during the weekend, and informed us Monday morning that the house was not available. Their facilities aren’t open on the weekends, so you have to assume they excepted our money after already signing the house to another individual. We have not received your application feedback despite absolutely no information on the waitlist of the house until after we submitted the application and paid them. Additionally Martha, their leasing woman was incredibly rude from the very beginning. Speaking to me in a condescending rude way. I tried not to respond rudely because I really wanted this house and wanted to be respectful. But they were certainly not respectful of my time, effort, money. Any of it.
