Very disappointed in Gearharts Moving & Storage. We moved Jan 2nd, we just paid for them to move the big items, we moved all the boxes etc. They broke a leg off of our dresser and couch, which we didn't realize until much later, so we didn't say anything. They also broke a drawer off of my daughter's dresser, which they left the broken drawer on her bed but didn't say anything about it, I found the broken drawer that night. I called and told them, they said they'd called back. It was several weeks and no call back, so I called again, they came and took the drawer to get fixed. Another several weeks go by and no follow up, so I called again and they said they were still working on it. It is now the beginning of April and STILL no follow up so I called again, they said they couldn't fix it and could offer $60. WHAT?! A broken dresser drawer that cannot be fixed or used, I have to replace the whole dresser now and that cannot be done for $60. I am so very disappointed and will never use or recommend this moving service again. Edit: they also said they couldn't get our main dresser and king size bed up to the master bedroom so they left it in the living room, and my fiance and I were able to get it up ourselves. Update: we were never offered to sign a release. We told them it was okay to make whatever damages to walls because my fiance could fix it. After writing this review and on facebook I was reached out to and we came to a fair conclusion and I was sent a check.

We moved from Belize Central America to the US, specifically Pennsylvania. Gearharts was hired to move our furniture and personal belongings from Miami, Florida to Pa. The container arrived in Miami and looked like it had been ransacked! Care was taken to repack our belongings and ensure we received our belongings without any further damage. A transition like that is not an easy process and ours was certainly a challenge. Gearharts moved our stuff back to PA and held it for us until we were able to establish our dwelling. We were not able to accept all our belongings immediately, and they allowed us to sort through our boxes and pick and choose what we wanted to take and what we needed to remain in storage. Later the same day they delivered our selected goods to our apartment. They're workers were extremely courteous and helpful bringing our things into our apartment. We will definitely use them again as we know we have one more final move!

Gearharts helped us move from State College, PA to New Hampshire. They carefully packed up our home and moved everything into storage for several months before the interstate move. We could not imagine a better experience. From the initial quote to the final delivery, the entire team was prompt, friendly, professional, and efficient. Tom was creative and flexible and helped us to make a big move easy and affordable. This is a company who takes a lot of pride in their work and it shows.

As soon as DYLAN, NICK, JOHN arrived they shook our hands, and introduced themselves. they were on time. They were quick but also VERY careful NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING is broken of ours. Very neatly organized. I would highly recommend company to anybody. They hauled up 3 flights of stairs without any complaint they were troopers and very sweet. They had us do walk through a before leaving and arriving to make sure our stuff was all on the truck before they left. These 3 need raises

When they delivered my things several pieces were broken, my furniture had gouges and scratches, the doors to my front loader washer and dryer are scratched beyond repair, the side of my washer is all scratched up, things looked like they were stored in a dirty old barn. My hutch was covered in mold , my microwave is scratched and looked like it was rolled around in mud. I called them about this and got absolutely no response. Be very aware of using this so called moving company. Do yourself a favor and call a real moving company.
