I took my son here after he had a bad allergic reaction to something I fed him. We talked to Dr. Olson about the allergic reactions he has had and also told him that my son has had really bad eczema that has covered his body since he was a newborn. They did a skin test on my son and we were told that the tests showed that my son is highly allergic to cashews and mildly allergic to avocados. Well within a few minutes of the tests being done, they rushed us out the door and gave us a paper saying to keep him away from all tree nuts and avocados and told us they will see my son again in 3 months. We didn't get to even speak with Dr. Olson about the results or my son's other issues. I was extremely upset at how quickly we were rushed out and how poorly my son's health was considered and treated. Later, I called the office to see if I could talk to the doctor about my son's eczema. My call was returned by a lady who was highly unprofessional. I told her of my concerns with my son's eczema and I told her that I'd like to find out what is causing it. She told me to go to their website and it will tell me ways to keep my son's eczema under control. I told her that I use hydrocortisone to help the flare ups but that I want to get to the root of the problem instead of covering it up. She again said the website will help and that it states that there are lotions and things for his baths that could help. She obviously didn't get what I was trying to figure out. After explaining it again, she asked if we have animals. I told her we have dogs and cats but that they tested for cat and dog allergies and those didn't come up positive. Well she said that his chart says he is allergic to dogs. They didn't tell us this at his appointment!! I was so mad. I have the piece of paper to show that they only wrote down that he was allergic to cashews and avocados. What else didn't they tell us about! I asked the lady to send me a copy of everything they tested for and the results. She said she would. Overal I am beyond upset at how unprofessional this whole office was. I will never ever recommend anyone to ever go here. UPDATE: We went to a wonderful allergist at Children's hospital. They did an allergy test that showed that my son was NOT allergic to avocados. It showed that we was allergic to cashews, macadamia nuts, pistachios, and dogs. Glad I got correct info from this allergist. They also spent time with me and talked to me.

The doctor, nurses and receptionists are all very kind. We felt very welcome here and they made our visit comfortable. We were seen in a timely manner and out of there in decent time. My infant and my pre-schooler were tested and they took great care of each of them. I appreciate the small things they did to make my preschooler feel comfortable. She got to pick out a movie to watch while she waited and they gave her a sucker and stickers. She couldn't have been treated better! Once we got our results they did a good job explaining them to me. This place is top notch!

I have been seeing Dr. Olson and his office for the past 2 decades. I have never had a bad experience here. I have severe asthma and food allergies. I am always treated well and now drive up from the springs to continue my care with him. I am also a respiratory therapist and am very active with my health decisions within the office.

Dr. Olson advocates the use of expired medication and sharing inhalers. This is unethical and likely illegal. In addition to the above listed items he demonstrates other qualifiers of medical malpractice. Dr. Olson is not confident in his treatment abilities and his competency is questioned. He will not commit and maintains a way out of a previous statement. When challenged he flounders. He contradicts his own treatment plan. The orders sent home with the parents is far different than his summary received at a later date. This is suspicious and trends with previous mistreatments and misdiagnosis He does not want to observe a second opinion and when this conservation arises he nervously avoids answering. Regretfully, we have had several experiences with Dr. Olson and they have been consistent. Olson is corrupt and is attempting to cover his inadequacies, lies and incompetency. He cares only bout lining his pockets and with repeat visits. He does not care about patients. His personal Bio is skewed and misleading.
