I waited until I got my refund from Groupon to post my review. I scheduled my move for July 30th between the hours of 8-9am on July 12th. Mark Corsaro recommended that I purchase a Groupon whereas I could get two hours for the price of one… Of course I jumped on the offer. On the day of my move at 8:50am I got a call Mark Corsaro telling me that their equipment broke down, all of the other equipment and movers were on out of state moves and they needed to reschedule my move. My house was completely packed up they weren’t sure if they could accommodate me for the following day but would reschedule me until then and keep me posted if anything were to change.. I asked that they send me an email explaining that they had to reschedule my move so that I would be able to share it with my employer because I would need to take yet another day off work to accommodate the change. When I asked about compensation for the inconvenience I was told to contact the manager John. I was told by John Fries that since I had purchased a Groupon they couldn’t give me any further compensation. I was perturbed because I only purchased the Groupon at the suggestion of their representative and had already planned to give a larger tip since I had planned to spend more for the move. My suggestion if you choose to use this company is to have a backup plan and don’t use a Groupon so you don’t appear to be a charity case. I still have yet to receive a refund for my booking fee and I’ll pursue that next. I also had to take an additional day off work to complete the move myself with the help of others and if I don’t get my refund of the booking fee I’ll probably have my attorney file a claim in small claims court and ask for that in damages. The disregard for the inconvenience they caused me is unacceptable!!

Incredible people!!!!! Did such a good job! Helped move us from a 3 bedroom house to an apartment on the third floor! Unfortunately there is no elevator here but it was no problem for these guys!!! Will absolutely be recommending them to everyone I know!

I've used Here To There Movers twice and each time I was very happy with the service. They were on time. They worked very efficiently. They took great care of my furniture. When they arrived at my new place, they put everything where I wanted it. The two guys were so polite and friendly as well. I'd highly recommend them.

Hired them to move with about a week’s notice after they were wonderful in moving my grandmother’s items after her passing earlier this year. However, we clearly didn’t book through the same referral because we were not treated the same. Communication wasn’t the best starting with the courtesy call the day before or even morning of that we were told we would get and never did. They’d rather be early, and I mean an hour plus early, than use the agreed upon time and insist it is better early than late, completely disregarding the agreed upon window or arrival and making it our problem when we weren’t ready because they were early. We agreed to an arrival window of 12-5, not sure why they wouldn’t have just advised an arrival window of 10-5, I didn’t ask for a window, they offered it so the fact they couldn’t respect or follow it says enough about how they run their business to me. The manager/scheduler then calls advising that my husband is being difficult, stating he is refusing to give his phone number so they can talk, when he was never even asked for it by the movers that showed up. And I know movers have additional fees and what not but those seemed higher than what we paid previously as well. And higher than other companies, at least the other companies are upfront with all the fees, they sent a list of possible fees and additions and then added more not on their own list! Oh also they showed up with a third person when we only booked for 2, that’s an additional $59/hr(could be wrong about dollar amount but know it’s a charge per hour for third man) they tried to charge us when our quote and agreement was for 2 people. They were wonderful when they assisted for the other move which is why I wanted to use them for this move. We did not have the same experience and for that I am sorry. They left my husband, newborn and I split between two homes with not only no apologies for being early but a very clear attitude that their schedule is more important than yours or an agreed upon time. He did say he would have them leave for the 27 minutes until our agreed upon window started but that was after they had been there for half an hour. If you book them I wish you our first experience, but make sure you’re ready the day before. If you have a newborn, so your life doesn’t always go as planned and sometimes you’re pushing to the last minute, perhaps try another avenue. I know the gentleman I spoke with on the phone will respond, as he advised (some may say threatened) he would. I hadn’t thought to leave a review, as you can see I haven’t left many in my time, but since I’ve got time today, I thought I’d let others know our experience and let them make their choice from there, perhaps I should have checked their 3 star rating before booking, my bad. You’ve just got to live, learn and higher the right movers for your situation. My grandma was their ideal customer, our family was not.
