Pretty easy to find items according to which Hugo's you shop. There needs to be more cashiers and less self checkouts. Store could be more clean in bathroom, and floors could be swept better. Store shelves are very dusty. Ample parking space available. People working in store are overall pretty helpful. there should be added incentives for customers to want to shop there. For instance,more 💰 you spend there, it would be nice if customers earned points to buy household supplies. Also,there should be a progam to help customers buy pet food,to encourage people to take good care of their pet friends. Thank you.

If you say you’re open until 10:00, Stay open until 10:00!!! I get it, people wanna get home after their shift. Tonight and many other nights, I was locked out like a criminal at 9:50!!! Who is managing this store?? Say you’re only open until 9:45 if you want to go home!! Otherwise stay open!! Worst etiquette and management I’ve ever encountered!! Lazy people not wanting to work 5 minutes extra. And making me feel like a criminal to want food!! I don’t know why anyone would ever shop here again! Shame on you! MGMT and Ownership! Might as well call it Hugo Boss! From the 1940s. Not a good look. So mad.

Really nice staff, prices are a little higher. Not as busy as the big guys but I've never waited in line at checkout more than 3 mins. No self check.

I had a lot going on yesterday in the store with my 3 younger children out of my 5 children total looking for an item I have no clue where to look and this woman name Kelly I seen her name on her name tag came up to me so nice and kind and soft spoken and said May I help you find something. I told her sure and showed her from off the paper what it was that I was looking for she helped me find it right away and how much of it I needed for so many days and I was just really greatful for her kindness she gave me a hug and I hug her back. Long story short she helped me and we had a healing moment. Just to human beings living life doing our best and choosing kindness. A word and action that’s hard to find these days and most of the time over looked but Kelly your kindness on yesterday and the healing words we shared in that short amount of time meant a lot to me and I needed them in that moment thank you for your kindness and your help to locate what I was looking for and that moment to know there are other kind people in the earth. You just never know where you might find them. Kelly make the statement true it might be just what you need at your local grocery store. Hugo’s thank you for hiring Kelly for yesterday alone this lady needs a raise she went above and beyond her job duties yesterday and she helped me find everything I needed in more ways than one. I look forward to comeback to your store thank you again kelly and the cashier that was going on vacation after your shift yesterday thank you for your kindness and making me laugh you where also kindness to me and my children I really do appreciate that Raymond your more than a cashier your a very nice person as well. And thank you to for all you do and the man in the deli thank you for being kind given all the girls a little sample your always kind as well we love the cookies and cream of not for you Sir we would have never brought it you gave us that 1st sample we been coming back about 1 time a month for it ever since thank you.

Every trip to Grand Forks from Fargo is a must stop at Hugos! I love their soup bar, soooo many delicious options 😍 They have the best cakes & sweet treats in the bakery too! I also love the high quality of their florals, every trip calls for a nice bouquet coming back home with me 🥰 I also love the meat here, in the fall I buy the fresh cut Turkey drumsticks/legs and for Valentines Day this year I got a heart shaped ribeye for the husband to enjoy 😉 They also have a good wine & spirit’s liquor shop on the same parking lot if you’re needing some adult beverages.
