We love Commander Moving. This past weekend was our second time using them. They dealt with a big move down three flights of stairs on one end and up two flights on the other without a single grumble. They treated our belongings with care and definitely had to get a little creative to get things upstairs because we have a really tight stairwell. Thanks again to Adam, Manny, Dom, and Karel! We hired Commander Moving to move us out of our current home so it can be staged and sold, while we spend a couple months in an AirBnB, and all of our stuff is stored at the Commander Moving warehouse. Once our house sells and we find a new place, we'll have Commander Moving bring all of our furniture, art, clothes, etc. from their warehouse to our new home. The folks at Commander Moving were pleasant and professional on the phone, as was the estimator who came to our house weeks beforehand. On moving day, they sent two trucks, a van, extra packing materials, a supervisor, and 7 guys to move us. The company owner stopped by to check on his guys and to check-in on our satisfaction mid-move. They were prompt (8:00am) and quick: they had our multi-level 3-story home of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, LR, DR, office, washer/dryer, heavy wine fridge, standup freezer, sofas, chairs, storage areas, and LOTS of fragile art packed and on the truck by 2:00pm -- well ahead of schedule. They then left for the warehouse where they loaded all of our things into protective containers. All of the guys were hard workers, strong, careful, friendly, courteous, professional. We are very happy with our experience so far, and feel confident our belongings are in good care at their warehouse while we search for our next home. This is a super-stressful time; the folks at Commander Moving made moving day (relatively) stress-free. = = = = = UPDATE= = = = = Commander Moving did it again. I was impressed enough to write a review when we moved out of our old house in order to prepare it for staging and sale. All of our worldly possessions were carried up three flights of stairs, loaded onto two trucks, and spirited away to a warehouse somewhere. Kinda scary, but I figured I could trust these folks (the woman on the phone who scheduled us was terrific, the owner of the company stopped by our house to make sure everything was going smoothly, and the guys doing the hard work all gave us confidence). Sure enough, we sold that house quickly, bought a new one two weeks later, and moved in just as the term ended on our temporary quarters at the interim AirBnB. With one phone call to Commander Moving, a move-in date was scheduled. The workers loaded our stuff from their secure warehouse onto two trucks, called us to confirm they were on their way, and arrived on time (maybe even a bit early). We gave them a tour of the new place so they'd be oriented as to where things should be placed, and they got straight to work. This move-in crew, like the move-out crew (same foreman / crew leader), was respectful, hard working, careful, and quick. They moved everything in, put our beds back together, moved things again when we initially misdirected them to the wrong room -- and did it without complaint, and carted away mountains of bubble wrap and piles of cardboard moving boxes. In all, they were completely finished (two packed trucks loaded and unloaded!) by early afternoon -- and left us to unpack the rest of the way in our new home. Kudos to the guys who did the (literally) heavy lifting at move-in (I didn't get the names of the guys who did our initial move-out): Efran 1 (supervisor/foreman), his son Efran 2, Alex, Rigo, and Alfredo. We tipped them handsomely in appreciation. Post mortem: After fully unpacking, everything was perfect except: one insignificant bowl was broken (probably because I packed it wrong in a box - not their fault), and our giant king-size bed wasn't put together perfectly -- but we got that resolved a few days later with a handyman who was in the house doing some other work. That's an AMAZING result and testament to their care and professionalism. Recommendation: Use Commander Moving for a terrific experience from end-to-end.

Commander Moving was great! Moving is never easy, and they made it a lot easier. Their team is professional and knowledgeable. Their movers were very careful with all our possessions and with our homes. I can't recommend them highly enough!

The best moving experience!! From end to end they were prompt, professional, and pleasant to work with. And a bonus, they finished faster than the quoted time. My quoted price was adjusted to a lower amount after some due diligence on their end. We will plan to use them again.
