I moved to Reno in 2022 and I contacted Lakeside to move a 45 ft container onto an empty lot. I asked for an estimate, but was told they need to see the lot and container first. Two days later, a driver just showed up and said he was there to move the container. I asked again how much, and was told to take that matter up with their office, but the driver said, "It's not gonna be very much." since we were only moving the container a total distance of 50 feet. I said OK, lets do it. We recommended he bring it out and around in a loop, but the driver see-sawed the container for 20 minutes before he hit and ripped out the water main for three of my new neighbors. I was yelling STOP! I had an employee on site who witnessed it all. He kept going, and then Emergency plumbers were called because water was shooting up and flooding the parking lot. The next day I showed up at the Lakeside office with my bill from Jet Plumbing for $6,574.00 and the woman in charge screamed at me, "We were just trying to do you a favor, we're not paying for anything!" My Small Claims Lawsuit followed.

Lot's of complaints against their drivers on here, ever had to deal with their office staff? Good luck. One of their trucks had a piece of leftover tubing in the back of it and it flew up and hit my sons windshield and left a major crack in it. How do you think they responded? Yeah, with attitude and had us fill out a "form" that they then said the item must have been on the road already blah blah blah, didn't expect anything from them. Not sure why anyone would want to use them professionally.

WARNING: DISHONEST STORE LYING TO SELL OVERPRICED CHAIN! NO RETURN ALLOWED! I think the person at the store lied intentionally in order to sell overpriced chain at $243. Also, no return is allowed even for unused items. I visited the store this Monday morning around 8am. It snowed last night, so I dropped by to check whether I need to buy chain. My thought was it is not needed because - I have a AWD SUV. - Only 1-2 inches snow until 7am and there is no more snow expected for the next 5 hours. I asked the person at the store as he should have more experience. I was told firmly that it is required and needed even with above conditions. I was foolish enough to trust this person, not information from the internet. I also asked for installation instruction, and was told that traffic authority will install it for free when you reach checkpoints. (I am not sure about this one, but I don't think this is true.) I went past 2 checkpoints, and was told by traffic authority that no chain is required for AWD vehicle, so didn't have to use the chain at all. Also, as expected there is no snow on the road as it has already melted with no more snow coming down as the weather forcast. Called the office next day for return because I was given wrong information and didn't use it all. Dina was very kind to answer questions, but told me that the owner Jim has to make the decision. Called again today, and the owner decided not to call me again.
