As a commissioned officer for over 26 years in the US Army, I have experienced 12 military moves. Thus, I think I am qualified to give Liberty Bell Moving and Storage at least 5 gold stars (out of 5) for their recent efforts in moving me from Alexandria, Virginia to Kennebunk, Maine. From the initial planning to the final delivery, it was a flawless operation. Estimates were provided, promised pickup and delivery dates were met, the guys were careful, gracious, and committed to my satisfaction at every step of the way in this door-to-door move. Despite careful planning, any move can meet unexpected complications. This move was the exception. There were NONE! Two conscientious young men showed up in Alexandria in a brand-new immaculate truck. They had all the packing material required, the equipment needed, and the professional skills to move my shipment from my condo and load it efficiently. There was no damage or loss. In the military, we used to say that three moves equaled a house fire due to damage and lost or missing items. Whoever coined that phrase had not encountered Liberty Bell Moving and Storage. They were professional, concerned, careful, and were not afraid to ask questions to make sure that all went as I planned. At the destination, they asked where I wanted each item, unpacked those items they had packed, and made sure I was 100 percent happy before they drove away. I would without question recommend Liberty Bell Moving and Storage to anyone up and down the East Coast who need a professional move that is on time and on budget Bless all of them from the office planning staff to the young men who actually loaded and unloaded the truck. Liberty Bell Moving have been fantastic during my recent move. Although the move was local (within 40 miles), the movers were respectful and conscientious of my furniture and packed goods. I found the crew to be very knowledgeable with how they packed the truck; all items were wrapped to protect and boxes were not just thrown, but placed into the truck. I am a repeat customer of Liberty Bell Moving; in fact, it is my 3rd move with them. My first was handled by the owner himself, Kevin back in the day. I will continue to be a loyal customer of Liberty Bell Moving.

In the middle of a renovation we had to remove heavy items from our bedroom to our living room Contacted Liberty Bell because they were open late and promised a fast response. And also we used to live in Philly so the name rang a bell:) The two men were sent and did not need a big truck so they came in a normal vehicle. They were very professional and smart and did everything promptly and carefully as needed. They were clearly well trained, experienced and took it all in stride with good humor. We are very grateful. Their pricing was fair considering the hard work involved and the need to turn on a dime. They took such good care of us we are inviting them back to do the reverse move. If it aint broke, don't fix it. Their online forms are easy to use and the response it very fast. Exactly what we needed. Thank you Liberty Moving.

Liberty Bell texted me at 4am the day of my move to inform me that they did not have a crew available (4 hours before they were scheduled to arrive). I had received multiple confirmations via email in the days prior. After initially offering to "slide me to move tomorrow", they said they would be able to do the move by the end of the scheduled day. Around 4pm, I was texted by a separate number indicating that the move would not be happening. I asked if they could provide a discounted rate on a rescheduled moving date due to their violation of our contract/deposit and they declined. I then requested my deposit to be returned, which they did the following business day. I would not recommend booking a move with Liberty Bell if you expect your reservation to be honored.
