I have used GGM for well over 12 years now, and they once were hands-down my favorite/preferred company who had always been more or less reliable and flexible. Something has changed over the years, and I am so sad to say I was deeply disappointed by my recent experience. There was quite a bit of back-and-forth regarding the booking for a room-to-room move of my concert harpsichord. The company was difficult to confirm things with, and even though they finally offered a 1-4pm window, the crew was exceptionally tardy and didn’t contact us until 6:27 PM. I informed them prior to booking that I had an absolute latest cutoff time and they did not honor this. By the time anyone called with an update, I was leading a rehearsal and unable to talk with them. My husband met them (because they just assumed to come over anyway) and they completed the job carelessly, leaving the very obvious casters in the first room and just placing the instrument without casters under the wheels in the adjacent room. (So now, I have to figure out how to lift the instrument and place the casters underneath to protect the floor… VERY annoying given the exorbitant cost for this job.) While normally I have found the occasional inconveniences tolerable—because I know when I hire them, my instruments will be in trustworthy and incredibly careful/skilled hands—I will think twice before hiring them again. The single object being moved from one room to the next room cost me $325. No acknowledgement or apology given for the unacceptable lateness and I was not there to oversee the job. I realize the crew had had a long and probably stressful day because of the job they had before mine, but that’s really no excuse for the level of unprofessionalism and lack of timely communication.

The worst moving company, they charge more than you expected and they don't respect the quotation that you have at the beginning, all the furniture came broken some boxes open and damaged, some stuff missing(luggage......),tv broken..... a lot of stuff damaged, delay of the delivery ....and I did not mention all the bad experiences that I had with this company. All I can say run from this company, I'm so upset and feel scammed.

DO NOT choose them!!! DO NOT choose them!!! I have the same bad experience as others. 1. They didn't wrap the piano at all. Damaged the piano! 2. While we were trying to figure out the problem and they threatened me: If you don't pay full, we will push the piano away from your house and see you in the court! 3. I said you can't move it without my permission. They didnt care my safety and move it from me so roughly when my hands still on the piano. 4. They didn't let me to take photos of the damages area. Finally I caught them and stopped them while the piano was on the slope leading into the truck. The leader, (he was the worst guy, he didn't tell the name) who was holding the piano on the bottom, let the piano go. The worse was that he told other two guys to let the piano go, too! He was trying to take the advantage of slope and hoping the piano can slide down on me!!! he was trying to hurt me!! So scary! Where is your humanity ?! 5. They think I don't understand Spanish, so you spoke bad about me in Spanish!! My husband worried about my safety and called the cops. We reported them! If you deliver the things well, of course we pay you full. But if you damage our things, you need to pay to fix it as well, right? You can't just dump the things and then leave!! God sees everything bad you guys have done!! This people gonna get all the bad luck from the bad things they have done!

I have no clue how this joke of a company got my phone number, but after days of harassment via phone and texts, I had to get rude and he had the audacity to hang up on me. I wouldn't use them if they were the last moving company and I was in fact moving across country. Shady af
