Stay away from this company if you value your stuff. The assigned this move to a third party moving services Chen Services Inc and they have handled it badly. TV, sound system and all the moving boxes got wet and damaged. Concorde van lines doesn't have any control over the third party movers. John from Concorde van lines told me that there won't be any flight fee for the first flight but still the movers charged me $75 for the first flight (even though there are less that 10 stairs), I made multiple calls to Concorde van lines they have told me the money will be refunded but have never done so far. Movers are not professional you get what you pay for. I am working on claims with them now, I will keep this review updated. I highly recommend to stay away from these movers here are lot of better movers out there. Please check the pics I have posted before you choose Concorde van lines.

BEWARE Please read the reviews from customers on the BBB website to understand how truly traumatizing working with this company is. Many others, like myself, have been scammed by this company and their wild contracts. They are allowed to (and will) charge 110% of your original quote, hold your items for weeks/months, and deliver items completely damaged with no insurance follow through. BEWARE!!

Quoted a price after going over full list of items in my move, once they got there to pick it up said they underestimated space needed and I had to pay additional $1600. Also said it would take 2 days to get my items, it took almost a month

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is the worst service experience I have ever received in my life. Please use a U-Haul and if needing assistance hire workers on either end of the move. Concorde Van Lines are not a moving company. They are a broker. The whole moving process has been extremely chaotic, unclear, longer in duration and leading to much higher costs then what was stated. Here is how the scam works. I signed a “nonbinding estimate” with Concorde Van Lines to do move after reading and buying into their many 5-star fake reviews. I paid them $1,200 even though they don’t do anything as part of the moving process, and then the mover was to get $2,300 as agreed to as part of my contract. Concorde Van Lines then subcontracted my move right before the move is to occur to a moving company with only 1-star reviews. I don’t know who the company is till they arrived for the move (therefore, there was no way to investigate them ahead of time). The moving company loaded all my items into a van, and then proceeded to overcharge me for the move by $1,200. I am essentially stuck as they have all my belongings, and there is little that I can do to challenge the charges. Concorde purposefully created a lower estimate for me to sign, that would then be overcharged by the moving company. My belongings arrived in Chicago (coming from New Orleans) 41 days after the move began (6 business days late for a move of this kind). To function with everyday life, I ended up needing to borrow or buy many possessions as I waited for my belongings to arrive (I had been told by Concorde Van Lines that the move would take 1-2 weeks’ time). I canceled many plans and events due to regular changes in the delivery timeframe. I had even been told that my belongings were to be delivered on a specific date, and then I find out on the day that my belongings were not to be delivered an no explanation was given. During the moving process, Concorde did not provide any ongoing communication with me about when the move would occur. I reached out to them on several occasions, and they gave unsubstantial responses. I have filed complaints directly with Concorde for the moving process and they just redirect any blame for what has happened towards the moving company, and won’t take any ownership for any of the issues (even though Concorde Van Lines subcontracted the move to a moving company who has extremely poor ratings and a record for moves, and they set me up to be overcharged through the moving process).

BAIT & SWITCH SCAMMERS - BEWARE!! Concorde is a moving broker, not a van line. I made the mistake of trusting them - ensure you don’t make the same mistake I (and many others) have made by using this company! After being very clear from the very beginning about my strict desire to be quoted AND charged by weight (and NOT volume) Concorde said this is how they charge - by weight. ONE DAY before my scheduled move I had to chase Concorde up for an update, only for them to insist they only ever charge by volume - and the moving company they subcontracted out to would only bill on volume too. My move cost me about 58% more than expected as a result. If you have an issue the sales team disappears and becomes unreachable (although they are very nice at the beginning until you sign their binding estimate and they take a large non refundable deposit). The mover they subcontract out to will give you their own quote when they arrive to pick up your goods - and Concorde’s “binding estimate” isn’t worth the paper it’s written on as they had no intention of honoring it. You are then left to either accept the mover’s high quote right there and then, or turn them away and have your moving plans destroyed. The delivery date May now be over two weeks later than promised by Concorde also. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CONCORDE AS THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED! After numerous moves nationally and internationally I made the mistake of trying a broker. NEVER AGAIN! I’ll stick with an established carrier who follows through on their word. It’s worth the peace of mind.
