Truck 4499, trailer 6261. Tuesday July 2nd, 2024, 1208 p.m. eastern time. Very old gentleman driving the truck, gave about two blanks of the blinker and came over on me in the right lane. About 5 ft in front of my front bumper. Then slowed up immensely, almost instantly. I'm a 2/3 full tanker, I can't just jam on the brakes, he ran me off the road. About 7 or 8 minutes later, he got out in the left lane when he had absolutely no business being out there, eventually a whole line of traffic formed behind him because he was going about the same speed as the guy in the right lane. I would seriously recommend reevaluating his truck driving skills. He may have been a good driver at one point, but the small amount of time I was around him on the highway, he proved he's not got it any longer. Time to hang up the keys-

Completely Mishandled by Management This was a terrible training experience, I'm expected to be a perfect driver and not blow up on Ricky while he is over leveraging his authority, harassing me, picking on me about my weight and just plain out looking for a way to sabotage me while I'm driving an almost 80,000 pound vehicle down the road! (remember! OUR DAY BEGINS AND ENDS WITH SAFETY!). Long story short, Ricky gets to keep his job after treating me with absolutely no respect, trying to sabotage me and the companies equipment (telling me to pull out in front of moving cars). I get terminated because Ricky created a mess he couldn't handle anymore and went and told his boss I was an unsafe driver. On Monday, I end up traveling to Elwood for a little sit down meeting where I am told that I am the problem and I'm being given one last chance to prove myself with a new trainer on Wednesday and to get my stuff off Ricky's truck so he can leave to do his job, while I'm out of a job Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday. So I travel to Elwood Wednesday, my trainer is almost in town and I get told by Chris the driver manager, at the last minute, that I was no longer needed. No mention of compensation for gas money, no sorry, just the rug pulled out from under me. Just to mention, the entire time I was with Ricky (he thought it would make me feel better by giving me compliments to put his guilty conscience at ease) he kept telling me that I could do the job. None of this really makes sense, since I was 4 weeks into a 6 week training course and feel completely mishandled by management. People are not always going to get along but you shouldn't punish the new guy for it, especially when Chris the Driver Manager openly admits that Ricky has a personality that lacks couth. There's nothing fair, honest or EQUAL about this EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Been working here a short while and I can't say enough good things about the quality of company, the great people, drivers and in the office. Here you feel like a big family and the working atmosphere is fun. If anyone can give a bad review, then they are dishonest about that review. I have never been in a better place. Come and find out what it's all about! You will be glad you did.

I joined RG Transport 5-1-2012 and I can honestly say that it's the best driving job I've had in my 24 years or driving. RG has great equipment, competitive pay and awesome office personnel that treat u with respect. The Red Gold employees at all of their facilities are nice and friendly. It's definitely the best move that I've made in my driving career. It's a great place to work and I would recommend RGT to any driver that is interested.
