Horulible horrible horrible. On the same night I had surgery I had excruciating pain I called the after hours as directed and asked if the doctor could send me 2 pain pills as I couldn't take the pain and I wanted to sleep. He insisted I had to go to the emergency room on a Friday night at 1030 pm. I advised him that I had 2 hyperactive kids with me that just fell asleep and I could not bring them to an emergency room for hours and hours. I told him I could see someone in the morning but he said he would not give me anything unless I saw a Dr even though he just saw me in the morning and did surgery. Well they don't care one bit if I wanted the pain to stop I had to inconvenience myself and wake up 2 children to get any relief even though the pharmacy is right across the street. This is truly in humaine unprofessional and completely immoral. I would not recommend anyone see this cruel monster.

Great work! I have a brachial plexus injury from a motorcycle accident that made my arm have less than 5 degrees movement in flexion and abduction. It has been over 2 years since surgery in which I had within 6 months from the accident. Flexion is now 80 degrees and abduction is 90 degrees! His work has made a major change in my capabilities. Thank You to the moon and back Dr. Wilson!

Outstanding! Professional! Beyond the call of duty! That's how I would rate Dr. Thomas Wilson and the staff at SHC. My husband, in 2 weeks time, was scheduled for arm surgery because of extensive nerve damage that he has been suffering from. My husband was fine with the surgery, but I was a little nervous, as I am with any surgery because there IS risk that not everything will go as smoothly as planned. So I started reading about Dr. Wilson, and really liked what I read. But I still had some concerns. I was concerned that our insurances would cover. I wanted to make sure that we had a good rapport with the anesthesiologist. I wondered what was I going to do with my husband's service dog during the surgery. And I wondered where we would be able to fill any prescriptions after the surgery (we were not local). Not to worry. I should have known the level of care that goes on here. I was on the phone the day before checking about our insurances, and was told that everything seemed in order. The valet parking attendant said he would definitely be at his post, even at the late hour that we would be going home (my husband did not finish in surgery until almost 6pm, so it was close to 8pm when we were able to go to the place where we were staying). I ended up bringing my husband's service dog into the surgery waiting area and the guest attendant at one point brought out a heated towel for her! And Dr. Wilson, I can't say enough about him as a surgeon. He explained things in a way that I could understand (right after the surgery), he showed up at my husband's bedside while my husband was waiting to be wheeled into surgery and explained one more time what was going to happen, and he showed up in a suit and tie at the follow up appt that my husband (and I) had with him. At all times, he was very positive, extremely knowledgeable, and he actually seemed greatly interested in this field of surgery. He was just a supreme example of the kind of doctors/surgeons that I feel our country is known around the world for. And his personal staff probably called me on her lunch hour and said she made sure that I could pick up the prescription that I needed at the pharmacy right near where my husband and me were staying (we were staying at a friend's house and were not local for this surgery). I could go on and on and on, but you get my points. My husband had a neurostimulator put into his back by a Stanford surgeon. I wasn't there for that, but I was there for this surgery, and I have the utmost respect for all that goes on behind the scenes, and the level of expertise that Dr. Wilson and his staff had for the nerve surgery that my husband had on his arm. It's been 2 months now since the surgery, and my husband's hand is actually coming back to life! Thank you, Dr. Wilson!!!
