I made a quick stop at the Smart Dollar store with a specific item in mind: wire labels. Unfortunately, they didn't have the tags I was looking for. Nevertheless, I decided to take a stroll around the store. The staff members were quite friendly, greeting me when I arrived and even offering assistance a second time. I noticed that the store was impressively well-maintained and organized. One noteworthy observation was that certain items appeared to be priced higher here compared to what I've seen in other stores for the same products.

The store was very organized and customer service was very good. I visited store last week and I was looking for something in which the girl working there(shruti) helped me a lot . She tried her best to assist me. I had pleasant experience because of her. I surely recommend people to visit the store.

I stopped by the store. The lady who pretend to be the manager was very rude, disrespectful, and most important they believe everyone going inside the store with their bags are thieves. I had my tiny bag that included the computer, and very important office docs. She asked me to leave the bag at the front desk. Now I was not planning to leave the bag nor I was planning to do my shopping with bag or not having the bag because when there is no respect served at the store no need to pay my money at the store, but all I wanted to understand was the law and policy to be explained well or if the city issued must be hang at the front desk. Now if someone steal my bag, or put some illegal stuff who will be responsible? I told her this is not Ontario code policy, and she had no answer but saying this is our store policy, and in between the conversation she threaten my by saying I will call the cops. I said go for it and call them, but she did not. One thing just to let you know we do not live in the jungle, and as a citizen of the country I am well aware of the law. Later I called the store and asked for the owner of the store info but she disconnected the phone. I believe that as a owner of the store you have the responsibility to teach your workers manners, and Ontario workers code policy.

Some of the staffs are ok, but there are others who are rude. Today I encountered a rude cashier, who threw the bill at me after purchasing few items at the store. Don't be arrogant to your customers! We are paying for your service and company. Keep in mind!
