I’ve used Southside moving and storage a few times, but this time we had so many moving parts and logistics and each time the teams were amazing. Eric and Daniel helped us move out of our place and into storage, and then Steve and Dante helped us move from storage into our new place. Both crews were extremely friendly, patient, on time, moved swiftly, and took great care of my belongings. I just really appreciated their help with moving and would definitely use them again in the future!

We moved my 85 year old mom from her 2-level townhome in Virginia to a 1-level apartment in DC. Not only did she have a lot of fragile stuff, she had a lot of STUFF! Matt showed up initially to give us a bid, and he treated my mom with patience and respect. On Day One of Mom’s Big Move, Antwon, Dante and Doug showed up to pack everything. They worked tirelessly for 9 hours, and were so kind to my mother when she asked questions or instructed them whether something was to go to storage or to her apartment (this move had the ingredients to be a logistical nightmare!). The same three guys were there on Day Two of Mom’s Big Move to move everything into the truck. Again, they showed up early and worked nonstop till after noon. The last thing to go was mom’s beloved piano. She was a music major in college and taught piano for years. Music is her life. They moved it from the second floor, down a tight staircase with a curve, and into the truck without issue! All the while, maintaining upbeat smiles and endless patience. On Day Three of Mom’s Big Move, all three guys were there again, smiles on their faces, ready to go! They moved all her furniture and personal items up freight elevators, down halls, and into mom’s new place. They finished the day by taking the remainder of her stuff to a storage unit a few miles away. My mom had to take a break at my sister’s house before the guys were finished, and she was heartbroken that she couldn’t say goodbye in person. She had grown to love them! They were so gracious and allowed us to make a FaceTime call so she could tell them thank you! I know they were ready to head home, but they were just so kind to make sure my mother was happy. I can’t say enough about the professionalism, kindness and patience of Antwon, Dante and Doug! Thank you so much!

Awesome service!! I needed help to load my household goods into a trailer. These guys not only arrived early at the location, but they did a flawless job. A job that easily would have been more than an hour, it took them 36 minutes to complete and stack perfectly in the trailer. Very polite, respectful and professional. Thank you so much!! 5 stars all around!!

We hired Southside Moving and Storage to move from a multi-story town home into a multi-story home. We have antique furniture and a lot of large and unwieldy items and were amazed by not only the speed and efficiency of our moving team, but also by the care that they took to protect our items during the move. I have moved many, many times and this was definitely the "A" Team. Friendly, professional, efficient, and trustworthy enough for your most fragile and valuable items! Their pricing was fair and reasonable and the team over-performed in every regard. Absolutely outstanding service - cannot recommend highly enough!
