I received the best customer service I’ve ever had at U-Haul yesterday. The young gentleman working that morning was very helpful and thorough. He is also friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure all of my moving needs were met quickly. I failed to catch his name but he deserves some type of recognition for the service he provides not just to me but to all the customers I saw him interact with that day. 10 out of 10!

One of my back up lights was out. I called Angelo and he met me when I arrived. Within 5 minutes we had tested all of my lights and restored the back up light. He was knowledgeable and friendly.

All the checkin and checkout process was very convenient. The front desk assisted me very well with my reservation and very accommodating to all my inquiries. It was indeed something that I would recommend to all my families and friends. And would consider to be my best option in all my future moves and hauling.

First and foremost, the brakes were slipping in the truck, which made for a very uncomfortable experience when trying to stop at a stop sign or red light. Many times when I was coming to a slow stop, not a fast stop, it had a feeling of skidding a few inches though it wasn't a real skid (and the roads were perfectly dry). The tires were fine, so it wasn't a traction issue--the brake pads or something need to be checked and/or replaced. The driver's side mirror was very loose. I constantly had to adjust it because it would soon turn outward again, rendering it useless--this is a serious hazard when you need to depend on the sideview mirrors in lieu of a rearview mirror in the truck. Please tighten it. Lastly, I was told that the gas tank was a quarter-full, which it wasn't. In fact, the gauge was jammed against the "empty" side and the "empty" light was on--unfortunately, I only paid attention to this after I was a few miles away in the middle of nowhere and had to worry that I would run out of gas before I could get to a service station. Although I was credited for the extra fuel I left in the truck above a quarter-tank as I was instructed to do before I returned it--I had filled the tank to the tune of $99.00--I feel I should be credited for the quarter-tank of fuel that wasn't there when I took it out of the rental location. The rental location was negligent in ensuring there was a quart-tank of gas in it when it was returned by the previous customer.

Update: Manger went out of his way to cancel this reservation finally set at a location 20 minutes away within 1 hour of pickup. This man is a dirty scammer! Angelo! Caution: The manager at this location will come off nice and tell you what you want to hear. He will then no longer respond to phone, voice mail or text messages when you reach out for help or try to understand why you were lied to. They installed a hitch and guaranteed trailer availability a month in advance. Then within 48 hours of the rental, we are contacted by corporate uhaul that the norristown location can no longer meet our reservation. In short, we got shuffles around to 3 different locations within 48 hours because no one had the trailer within 25 miles. The manager at Norristown has not been able to be contacted in over a week now. Very disappointing considering how nice Angelo (I took his contact info out of my phone since there was no point. I may have his name wrong). Don’t be fooled, this location is a scam to take your money and they couldn’t care less about you.
